ABOUT ME

Growing up in Cleveland Ohio, my father instilled a passion in me for metalworking from a young age. I spent years going to his machine shop, doing the grunt work, watching closely, and eventually earning the right to take on more responsibility and learn his trade. After High School, I proudly signed up to serve the United States Army enlisting as a diesel mechanic. Here I learned something that is a mainstay in my ethos; “pay attention to detail”. Afterward, I went to trade school to extend my knowledge of the mechanical trade while working at a diesel mechanics shop on the side.

Later on, I moved to the great state of Texas to work in a fabrication shop that serviced the motion picture industry, race cars, and other crazy one off contraptions. I moved on to expand my love of ‘glueing hot metal together’ and went to work at a company that did structural steel welding and fabrication. Eventually I decided to open Angry Customs in 2013 with a Craigslist ad for custom motorcycle repair & fabrication. Doing this out of my 400 sq ft. garage lasted until I outgrew the space (because I’m a tool whore) and kept buying more tools and equipment. In 2017 I moved into a 1000 sq ft commercial building and continue to add equipment and build relationships with customers and other tradesmen, never forgetting that critical attention to detail.

These days things have come full circle and I find myself doing a lot of what my dad taught me in his machine shop in 1983, besides keeping a well swept floor. Here at Angry Customs, I specialize in custom one-off parts, repairing or building motorcycles, and redesigning discontinued parts for customers. I also collaborate with many talented makers of edged weaponry & *impact tools (Terry Shanks Knives) and some local firearms manufacturers (TPM Weaponsmiths & Revolutionary Rollerlocks). I am also a licensed FFL and NFA/SOT. If you are looking for all honest and American custom metalwork done here in the great state of Texas, contact me with your idea and/or drawings and we’ll make it happen. Cheers!
